Fresh Headies uses only the best materials. They nylon bond and triple stitch all the seams, and use only the strongest German monofilament screens, which are high-heat treated and will never stretch, relax, or otherwise change the filtration gradients of your bags.

High-heat treatment of the polyester screens holds the fabric in place during use, maintaining filtration size and keeping your extract pure and potent. Those cheap knockoffs single stitch their bags and use cheap silkscreen, which stretches with use and quickly becomes an ineffective filter, contaminating your final product.

It comes down to three things:

How long do you want it to take you?

How well do you want to grade out your final extracts.

A 1 gallon kit can process 2 ounces (56 grams/0.125 lbs) at a time - which is about what you can hold in your cupped hands. If you have 1 lb of dry rose heads, for example, you would have to run the process 8 times. Each run takes about an hour, which means that pound of roses will take 8 hours.

A 5 gallon kit can process 8 ounces (200 grams/0.5 lb.) at a time - which is about a grocery bag's worth. 1 lb of roses will now only take two runs, or 2 hours.

A 20 gallon kit can process 2 lbs, or a little under a kilogram, at a time - which is about a garbage bag's worth. 1 lb of roses will now take only 1 hour.

For those who need to streamline the process for time and cost reasons, the 4 bag kits are ideal, and still produce a top quality extract.

The 3 bag kits are the most basic kit, with minimal versatility in final grade, and are the quick and dirty way to get an herbal extract without the use of chemical separation methods.

The process involves separating the gland heads (trichomes) from your bulk plant matter. The quality of the essences is the same whether it's made from actual flowers or just leaves.

This separation is done by submerging the plant trimmings in ice water and agitating it for 15 to 30 minutes. This water is then filtered through the bags.

This separation occurs because of the temperature-- the ice is very important!

The amount of plant essences you get in return depends on the amount of trichomes  on your starting material. It does not matter if you use dry material- fresh works just as well. Sometimes starting with dry material will give a higher yield but the product is not as pure.

Be sure to freeze your starting material before use!

With some simple, basic care you will be able to use your Bubble Bags 100's of times.

Always rinse your bags immediately after use with COLD water and hang dry them. Always allow your Bubble Bags to dry completely before storing them to prevent mold and rot.

Hot water will melt the trichromes and clog the pores of your bags. If you accidently use hot water, don't stress – simply use some 99% isopropyl alcohol and gently clean them, then rinse with cold water and hang dry them. Once again, be sure they are completely dry before storing them to prevent rot and mold.
